Title: I am going to Live ! YES ! Post by HappyElaine on Feb 3rd, 2008, 10:38am I wasn't sure I would make it back here ! I broke my arm and leg. That has been bad, it got worst, I caught a cold that took me down and I mean down. I was in bed a week, up 15 minutes and down the rest of the time. I was so sick I didn't care about anything. I did have my new friend Mary come check on me and she made dinner a few times for the whole family. I told you all about Mary. She has been reading the board but she hasn't signed up yet. I was so sick, I couldn't even talk to my Jackie when she would call. :'( The doctor gave me some med that made me sicker than I was. I finally got the right med and I feel so much better. I got to get caught up on the board. I haven't even read the board this week. Even when I don't post I read the board. I was up all day yesterday. I slept all night last night. [smiley=sayyes.gif] Now its my turn to take care of Deveny and JD. They have it now. :'( They went to the doctor yesterday ! They will kill it before it gets started good. So far Buddy is ok. He keeps telling us to stay away and runs around the house with a can of Lysol spray ! I was upset about the broke arm and leg but after that cold. The arm and leg is nothing. I get my casts off the Feb 28th ! Just in time for the race ! Buddy is happy about that ! I missed you guys ! |

It broke just below the elbow, I have like a half cast I guess you would call it. It doesn't cover the elbow and right above the wrist. The only problem I have with typing is when I lay the cast part on my desk it makes my hand higher than the key board. I fixed that I just put two of JD's big story books under the key board. ;;D The hardest part is because of the legs on my desk. I can't get the cast on my leg under my desk. I have to sit sideways and turn my upper half around to type. Makes for a sore back. I broke my web cam when I fell, taking pictures of the snow. But Buddy wanted pictures, so he took some of me in my cast with our old cam. He plans to take them to be developed this week. When we get them back I will scan them and show them to ya'll ! I have some cool pictures on mine that JD did ! He can draw a mean robot ! I am doing like Mel did, checking out ebay for a new cam. Buddy said He would have bought me a new cam, I didn't have to break bones to get one LOL |
