Title: Superbowl- who will win?
Post by sandie99 on Feb 3rd, 2008, 10:07am
So who will win Superbowl this year?  :)

Back here in Finland we can watch it live if we want to; the broadcast begins 1.15am (and ends approximately 5.30am). No re-runs this year, which sucks, because I cannot stay up and watch it this time.

Doesn't matter to me as long as my numbers in the $100 pool come in. ;)

New England is favored by 12.

The team with the most points and fewest injuries will win.

NY vs Boston? pfffft...makes no difference to me, think I'll take a nap instead  ::)
It's all so bogus anymore with the videotaping, steroids, HGH, the 'me me me mentality' not to mention all the off-field bs these guys get into. Who knows what's legit and what's not anymore?
Face it, the NFL ain't what it used to be  [smiley=frown.gif]

The Giants will win--------The Big Blue Defense is going to haunt Brady and shadow him like he's wearing them like clothes. Like I have said many times ( and one of Brew's favorite quotes)---I wouldn't want to play the Giants right now !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

His name is Nick Kaczur and he might be an offensive lineman? (Like I know what that means - NOT!)

He's from the same home town as Wayne Gretzky.

Post by DennisM1045 on Feb 3rd, 2008, 1:21pm
Nick has been great all season.  That's one of the best offensive lines in the game.

Tom Brady will be the MVP.  He sucked against the Chargers and will be huge today.

Got to go with the Giants.

Heck... I'd be a way better game and story should they win. I'm not inclined to favor one team over another or anything like that.

It's just that a Manning won last year and I feel that it would be nice if a Manning won this year too.

Archie Manning

Are you kiddin me? A better story than history being made with a perfect season, play offs, and a superbowl win ?  That adds up to 19-0. Never been done.

New FedEx commercial:

  • Carrier Pigeons” is set in an office environment. It humorously shows what happens when an office clerk tries to handle his company shipping needs with carrier pigeons and chaos ensues.
  • This 45-second Super Bowl ad will air in spot 5A toward the end of the first quarter.
