What does this mean to you! To me it means a fun couple of hours with my Idol Bill Murray in this remastered favorite.

I really do not put a lot of faith in a rodent that lives underground. Either way you look at it, we have a bunch of winter left! :o

;;D That is a good thing Helen if you do not like winter! It is still dark here this morning but they are calling for more snow so "Wiarton Willie" (that's Canada's rodent) will not likely see his shadow this morning at 8:15am.  [smiley=grin2.gif]

Well, it's cloudy as the sun rises here in Western Pennsylvania which means no shadow for the groundhog and therefore an early spring. You heard it here first folks.

I'm actually about thirty five miles or so from Punxsutawney (we call it Punxsy) but it's cloudy all acoss the region, which was hit with an ice/sleet/snow storm yesterday.

That just made MY day -- and it's sunshiney here and gonna be 60 degrees today -- tomorrow it's WINTER again!

Oh well, if P. Phil says winter is here for a while - who am I to argue? Just put another log on the fire and patch up the long-handles...

Brush off the Car? Another 8 inches of snow last night. Well if the groundhog said early spring LETS GO SHOPPING.

Our store has already received the patio furniture and we have it on display. This should be fun. [smiley=grin2.gif]

I went on line and did a little research on our famous "Wiarton Willy". Maybe not the Albino Groundhog he appears to be. He may in fact be a "fraud" [smiley=yikes.gif]

Apparently he died in 1999 and was replaced kinda "hush-hush" and then I found this article. [smiley=huh.gif]

I love "Groundhog Day" too. I must have seen it half a dozen times anyway.  

That movie really put Punxsutawney on the map.
