Title: A True Patriots Fan...... Post by chewy on Feb 1st, 2008, 2:31pm A woman had 50 yard line tickets for the Super Bowl. As she sits down, a mancame along and asked her if anyone is sitting in the seat next to her."No," she said, "the seat is empty." "This is incredible," said the man. "Who in their right mind would have a seatlike this for the Super Bowl , the biggest sporting event in the world, and notuse it?"Somberly, the woman says, "Well... the seat actually belongs to me. I wassupposed to come here with my husband, but he passed away. This is the firstSuper Bowl we have not been together since we got married in 1967.""Oh I'm sorry to hear that. That's terrible. But couldn't you find someone else- a friend or relative or even a neighbor to take the seat?"The woman shakes her head, "Nah, they're all at the funeral." Go Pats!! |

Title: Re: A True Patriots Fan...... Post by Kevin_M on Feb 1st, 2008, 3:13pm Newspaper death announcement: He was a man so dear to many of us and will be missed. As a loyal sports fan he looked forward to rooting his team on this year in the Superbowl. Died mysteriously when his wife, born and raised in Boston, finally got a hearing aid after many long years of being unable to hear and share in his love for NY sports and his beloved Giants. |
