Is the snow really piled that high or is that an optical illusion? How do the trucks get the snow to pile up that high? I just can't picture how the snow is removed and put on top of those high piles.

Just as a curiousity

This one was taken at the same spot back in 1976.Then they had to make a tunell straight trough the damn snow.Now they have better machines

holy cow that's a lot! Its feb 1 and I have a yard full of robins and not a flake of the white stuff to be found.

Svenn, that's insane amount of snow! :o

We have plenty of snow in Jyväskylä as well and more is on its way as I type; it's been snowing since morning.
Well, snow is much better than rain - we'll be having that tomorrow... [smiley=huh.gif]

Just beautiful Svenn! I'm moving to Norway. :o

My God that's what I call snow.

Not much at all so far here about 75 miles south of Buffalo. The 60 mph winds knocked out power and felled a lot of trees along Lake Erie especially. So far all we have here is a few inches of snow and lovely freezing rain. Hate that stuff.
