ok so if my son has Blue eyes but mine are green blue hazel and Shauns are brown, does that mean that one of us is related to you too?

Also my son has the exact match to his paternal Grandfathers eyes, but according to the research it says that blue eyes come from maternal lineages. So what does that do to the resessive gene chart that I learned in Anthropology?  rofl.  Guess all the profs have ot learn to teach it a different way.

You know half of clusterville is related then since light eyes is a supposed trait of CH.  I remember at the Nashville convention - I never saw so many people with blue eyes in one place, except in my biologic family!

Well gash darn.  Here I thought I was related to my husband but it turns out I am not I am related to Sean.  LOL.    I have blue eyes and my husband has blue eyes with a brown spot on them.  I wonder just how rare that occurance is?

mine are really really dark brown, I would say black  :), not bad from the daughter of a truly green eyes man...but my mom also has black eyes, I guess I came out after her...

Nope Dennis, we're stuck with him just as he is!  ::)

My eyes are hazel too but go bright green when I'm upset I have Barney with the deepest blue eyes you've ever seen, and Brid and Jasper with absolutely pure chocolate eyes, deep, deep brown.. thank goodness none of them inherited my nondescript eyes!

Well I'm a Swede. There are helluva lot of Swedes with blue eyes. When I first looked into CH, the prevailing wisdom was that tall thin Scandinavians were more likely than others to be hosting the beast. That's been pretty much set aside, I think.

I've said before that Jamestown is about 33% Scandinavians but I haven't seen any evidence of a larger than average CH victims.
