Well, I broke the rule for this one because I just read this three days ago and wanted to get it word-for-word correct.  The new board opened Feb. 13, 2002, but Deej had an accident.  After that, Margi was the first here.

Actually that was a cool build-up on the board before Atlanta. (was that Atlanta?) I was new and thought you two were really angry at each other and e-mailed NancyC.  She said, "Nah, they're kiddin".  So I don't think it was a troll situation there.  It did turn out great.  ;;D

Can't swear to this either.....but I don't think he did.  That's why he created CH.com.....

I "met" DJ on April 9, 1998......on a message board. Not Yahoo, not IRC although a lot of us used to chat that way. I imagine DJ has spent some time in a garage....but thats not it either.

The first UNofficial OUCH convention was in Drummer's garage in Rochester NY in July of 1999 - attended by: Kip and Judy, Todd V., Elaine, Barb D, and Drummer and his family. There was another lady that came for a few hours, but she thought we were axe murderers and didn't stay long.

Riccardo was from Italy (Vegas) and won BIG TIME on the slots. England also was represented with two guys from there.

Who won the pool tournament in Atlanta?

DJ actually started getting hit with a cluster while writing up this post. ....

This *migraine* group did contain the largest gathering of cluster sufferers on the net at the time. It was probably the first one to also publish any sort of sufferer-generated help document for treating and living with clusters.

There is no doubt though, that what DJ started, the roots of which are explained in the above URL, changed the face of cluster life on the internet, and the lives of thousands of cluster sufferers, treatments advancements and support options, forever.
