It is sad that he is gone and I really liked some of his movies....

But I am really praying for his little 3 yr old daughter who now has to grow up without her daddy....even more sad!

Edited to add: I suppose if I had read the link I'd have known (duh), not that I've seen anything he's done. I never heard of him before today.

It's a tragedy. I've seen him only in 10 Things I Hate About You, but a friend of mine has seen many of this films and liked his acting a lot.

It's always sad to see someone who is nearly my age to pass away. :(

I heard this on the radio early this morning & naturally it blew me away when he is one of our states most recognized people just a boy from a normal family in a normal suburb who did what he did best; I have been out of town all day away from any media coverage & have just finished watching the nightly news, the sad thing is the insensitivity of the media, his family over her in Perth heard the news of his death on national radio before it was conveyed to them personally.

I guess the almighty $ is worth more than family feelings.

Prescription sleeping pills. There are several doctors who shy away from prescribing any sleeping pills. Where he lived in New York SoHo--everybody said that he was a regular type guy and was well liked. I think this was a sad case of a tradegy that never should have happened.

Initial reports from the coroner say it looks like an accidental death, not suicide or a drug abuse OD.
The kid was talented, for sure.

It is sad.

It may seem silly to some, but I've seen and admired a lot of his work. He was talented and edgy, not very common in the industry these days.

kinda thinking along the lines that Barry is..hard to think it was intentional..
