Now that we've heard from the valedictorian of finishing school, we can consider ourselves schooled in the arts of tact, diplomacy, and sportsmanship.

I can only hope to achieve such a lofty position someday.

Ok, let me just say this.  Us Packer fans are used to Farve and his lovely throwing games.  We know the Pack can lose just as much as win.  Brew, nor any of us, is being bitter.  We're more disappointed than anything.

But you Steve, that was just plain mean.

Bitterness is a much more BITTER pill to swallow. If only anyone but the voices in your head knew WTF you are bitter about most of the time.  >:(

Maybe the voice in his head is American Idol Sanjiah repeatedly singing a Wayne Newton song.

That would cause social ineptitude.

You know, Steve, I have tried for over a year to figure out just what your problem with me is. Normally I would try to work these kinds of things out privately, and I have tried that route. But you have your profile set to ignore my PM's, and you won't read or answer them.

So, since you have opted to play this little game in public, I will play along with you. Please answer this for everybody to see - what is your problem with me?

Being bitter... that's use of time and energy and nothing positive will come out of it. That's how I see it.

I have converted. I am now a Packer fan. I watched the game. Every bit of it. And when I saw the video of downtown Green Bay, how there was not a single car or person to be found out and about, I could relate with that(I am a fanatic Ky Basketball fan) so if the fans are THAT passionate, I am all over that. Plus, I have some good friends who just happen to be Packer fans and just spent a weekend with them.

PS. Even the band at halftime looked pretty good. ;)

Jimi , I'm surprised at you !!! However you chose a really bad time to become a Packers Fan as now you'll have to contain your enthusiasm til September. Reminds me of a song..........." See you in September...."
PS. Even the band at halftime looked pretty good. ;)

Nothin' wrong with that boy's politics - except he might still be a little left of Ghengis Khan. That's fixable, though.

But damn, Steve.

To understand Favre's impact on the game, all you have to know are his stats before and after halftime. He opened the game by completing 10 of 18 passes for 163 yards and a touchdown in the first half. He would up completing just nine of 17 passes for 73 yards with two interceptions in the second half and overtime.

What a dork!  If you throw out the 80 yarder to Driver, Favre's 1st half stats are 9 for 17, 83 yards.  Almost exactly the 2nd half stats.

Fact is, the Pack was outplayed.  Most of the game took place in their end of the field.  The Giants deserved the win.

The Pack had a great season though.  They did better than anyone thought at the beginning of the season.  I not so sure Favre can take the cold weather anymore.  It beat him up in Chicago a few weeks back and he didn't look good Sunday.

At least I don't have to waste Feb. 3 watching football now.

Still waiting for the hit-and-run artist to come back and defend himself and his tactics.

Indefensible?

Having been a Vikings fan for years (ya-ya-ya-), I can't say I have a great love for the Pack.  But I would rather seen them win than the Giants.

Yes, they did. And there are a lot of Packers fans around here who are now cheering for the Giants and who are showing a lot of grace, dignity, and dare I say it, sportsmanship.
