I've been waiting, and searching and waiting, etc. etc. etc. to find that one auction where the camera I wanted was either listed in the wrong spot, spelled wrong or something and I finally found one! I have been waiting patiently for the past 2 days for it to end. When I went to bed last night there was 32min left to the auction and someone else bid against me up to my highest price. I figured, if it's meant to be, I'll get it.

So when I woke up this morning I looked at my email and I WON!!! Yay!!

My frugal hubby was very happy for me as it's his money I'm spending. ;;D [smiley=laugh.gif]

Just had to share in my joy this morning as the past week has royally sucked eggs!

Well, all I gots right now is the eBay addy to the auction page. Other than that, I'll for sure be posting pics when I get it and can try it out! ;;D

That's a nice little camera Mel!

I think Beeyul shoots with a Sony.

Now, go have fun with your new toy. Do you have any type of post processing program? I just bought the new Photoshop elements 6.0.

No, not Phototshop (hell I can't afford that program even with my daughter getting it at the student rate). Photoshop Elements~I just bought it and paid 99.99 plus tax. I've never heard of Gimp.

Wow, I am shocked and pleasantly surprised that someone uses the GIMP rather than pirate photoshop.

You can also get if from the official page.

There is also a hack to make it look just like photoshop, but I have never tried it.

It means to steal Photoshop, rather than paying for it. Adobe doesn't care because that makes their software a De facto standard. It is good to see people using free alternatives.

Most people I know with Photoshop did not buy it. There are reports of Businesses getting caught with pirated Photoshop. At $600 not just downloading it can be hard to resist. (http://thepiratebay.org/search/photoshop/0/99/300)

Nice camera, Melly. I still use an old Kodak DC3200. It's so beat up I have to hold the battery compartment closed with duct tape, but as long as it keeps working, I doubt I replace it.

Pirate Photoshop? Never. I use pirate paint shop pro, ms photo editor and paint.

I'll have to try Gimp.
