Title: Sprint Nextel - here we go again. Post by echo on Jan 18th, 2008, 10:31am Reduction of 4000 employees. No merit increases in 2008. Wall street responded well - our stocks dropped by $2.50 in the 1st 90 minutes and are now valued at $9.43 a share. I remember selling stock in 1999 for nearly $110.00. Needless to say my 401K sucks pond water. We'll see if I can make it through this one. Whereas, I will have been here 30 years in February - I doubt it. |
