I would appreciate your prayers for my mom. She fell and broke her hip this afternoon. Surgery is planned for tomorrow morning. She is 76 and has Parkinsons which complicates matters somewhat.

Of course! I live in anxiety a lot worrying about my Grandma falling as it could kill her, so I understand.

I'm sorry for her accident and I've prayed for a fast recovery and easing of pain. Also I've prayed for the whole family to have peace. I will continue to pray, as that is what I do...

Mom came through the surgery fine. They had to put in a pin, and she will be in the hospital for about four days, then in a nursing home for rehab for tow to four weeks.

I really appreciate your prayers and concern. That is what is so special about this place. God bless.

Thats wonderful news Jerry :)

Hopefully your mum will soon be zipping around and feeling 100% again.

In the mean time, its important that she doesnt remain bed bound but tries to be up and active and moving around as much as she can. Deep breathing exercise and leg exercise are very important. Chest infection, fluid in the lungs and blood clots, all due to lack of mobility, are the most common complications post surgery.

Continue to send more prayers, healing vibes and hugs to you all.
