Title: Re: Having more than 1 son, 1 always misbehaves mo Post by sandie99 on Jan 11th, 2008, 2:31am Awww... what an innocent face! :D Well, I know that my "boys" Eetu and Kasper do know too well how to misbehave! ;;D Kasper looks all cute and innocent, but he's cunning little guinea pig, who can spill all the food at the food cup, bite a bit of a door which is next to the cage, diggs papers up... And Eetu, he's usually bullying his brother, but he's now learned that he can complitely knock over treat cup, which he has not done before. Life is certainly far away from boring when there's guinea pigs in the house! [smiley=laugh.gif] Sanna |

Good luck with that. I've had a couple retrievers over the years--I suppose a person can teach them to be a fishing buddy, but I haven't had much success with it. Fishing is a retriever head-trip. To begin with, the retriever realizes that he is out NEXT TO THE WATER! As any retriever knows, you have to be IN THE WATER. Yes--Water. IN THE WATER! But....the man is yelling....so I must get out of the water. It is not a good thing. I am very sad. Next thing that happens is......THE MAN HAS THROWN SOMETHING INTO THE WATER! Yessss....yessss......must go get the thing that has been THROWN INTO THE WATER! .......THE MAN SAID NO!!!!!! BUT I MUST GO GET THE THING THAT HAS BEEN THROWN INTO THE WATER, OR I SHALL DIE!!!! Ohhhhhh boy....I'm in trouble....but I'M IN THE WATER NOW AND I SHALL GET THE THING WHICH IS TIED TO A STRING AND IS NOW GOING VERY, VERY FAST TOWARDS US WHILE THE MAN IS YELLING. I've gotten the thing, and I shall now pull very hard on it....but wait...THERE IS SOMETHING SHARP ON THE THING!!!! And so it goes. Like I said, good luck. ;;D Best wishes, George |

Title: Re: Having more than 1 son, 1 always misbehaves mo Post by cash5542 on Jan 11th, 2008, 12:23pm George, you were right on!! I'm on my 3rd retreiver, 1st was a lab and the next two were goldens. We live near the Ocean and they all have loved to swim. It is their purpose and goal in life. If something is thrown into the water it is most important that they RETREIVE it back, regardless of what it is. And Nani, looks are very decieving!! This has to be one of the most adorable breeds of puppies! We are about to begin our 3rd session of puppy school. Maddie is getting better every day! Her 1st birthday is Feb. 16th. You have a long, FUN year ahead of you Sean! Enjoy it!! Take lots of pictures and videos cause they grow too fast. Charlotte |

Title: Re: Having more than 1 son, 1 always misbehaves mo Post by Ree on Jan 12th, 2008, 9:41pm Seamus is adorable... awwwwwwwwwww... All I have to say in my quest to help the puppy parents of the world after my year in Hell with our puppy is... don't leave anything on the floor that you treasure. Our Toby is a sweetie now but still chews chords, and anything else that he gets we have replaced our power chord to my new laptop and every other chord in the house has electrical tape. lots of love to you and your new family member your kids must be so excited...
