Title: "BabyFunk!" Post by Pfunk on Jan 9th, 2008, 6:21pm Hello all. I'm sorry that I have not been checkin in as much as usual but things have been kind of crazy around here. Christmas was the best that I have ever had, though! I got an early gift this year. On Thursday Nov. 29 at 7:42 PM, 7lbs and 13 ounces of certified "BabyFunk" was brought into this world in the form of Trevor James Cimino, my son. He is the most wonderful and beautiful thing I've ever seen and I will post pictures as soon as I can figure out how to do it again. Maybe one of you can post directions for me again. As for the boy, he's great and healthy and I've never been prouder of anything in my life. Most importantly, I am thankful that the baby and his mom are healthy and that she was so strong throughout. This year my cycle has been pretty intense but she stuck it out and helped me work through it as she always has. The boy is also a big help. It's amazing what you can get through when you are caring for your new/first child. It's almost as if some of the pain just disappears when I'm with him. I still cannot figure out how to post the actual image wtih the message but here is my image code for one of my 8000 pictueres. 'BabyFunk" is doing great. The HA's are slowing down a bit however the pai/intensity is a little more severe when they hit. Only getting hit about 1-2 times a day now instead of 5-6. It's been pretty hard this time. Sometimes I feel like I am not holding up my part of the duties as a parent and it gets me pretty depressed. I dont let it show to anyone though. Then, when I do feel okay, I go and pick up and/or play with the boy and all my troubles seem to disappear. He is the most wonderful/beautiful thing that has ever happened to me in my life. He just seems to make it all worth while. He has given me the answer to the neverending question, "Why have I been busting my hump all these years for nothing?" It worked not only on my clusters but when having to takecare of the baby in the middle of the night it functioned as white noise for her and soothed her.
