Your right, he did know his stuff. It looked like the others were anticipating the recoil too much and it got loose on them.
That is one helluva rifle tho.

My Russian Mosin Nagants aren't that powerful, but after a dozen rounds, your shoulder is really sore.

I use a rubber recoil pad when I take them out...makes for a better aim not having to anticipate the beating you take ;;D

My Dad had a .454 Casull pistol. It was a monster.
He says: "Better watch it...it'll get away from you"

So what do I do? Macho man steps up and holds it like a .357 mag.....BOOM...it went up so fast I could hardly hang on to it.

All I could say was "damn!!!!"

Another one I had that was a handful was a 410 shotgun pistol. Has a very small grip...you had to hang on to that joker or it would end up dropped for sure. ;;D

My guess would be that the tube was failing with every shot, if it was a hot tube he would not be holding it in his bare hand.
