Not quite blonde, just a bit of a grey moment, but this one bugged me so here is the answer Best Answer - Chosen by Asker The rumor that babies don't have kneecaps is neither completely true nor completely false. Babies *do* have kneecaps, but they aren't made of bone. They are made of cartilage, and only ossify (turn to bone) between ages 2 and 6. See sources section below. At least now you know why there's so much confusion!! |

Title: Re: True Or False ?¿? Post by monty on Jan 23rd, 2008, 4:47pm 40,000 Americans injured by toilets every year? That seems low. I watch 'Cops' on TV - the real number must be closer to 4,000,000. 40 people are sent to the hospital for dog bites every minute? That is 21 million people a year - that one does not sound right. Eaten a spider while sleeping? How about a few dozens, plus hundreds of mosquitos, flies, and other bugs? The heart stopping thing didn't seem true - several sources say that the heart rhythm changes and occasionally skips a beat when we sneeze, but it does not stop by any means. Jacko does own the rights to one of the 2 South Carolina official state songs. I did not know that! |
