Title: AFC Playoffs Post by tanner on Jan 19th, 2007, 3:29pm A first grade teacher explains to her class that she is a New England Patriots fan. She asks her students to raise their hands if they are Pats fans too. Not really knowing what a Pats fan was, but wanting to be liked by their teacher, their hands fly into the air. There is, however, one exception. Susie has not gone along with the crowd. The teacher asks her why she has decided to be different. "Because I'm not a patriot fan" she reports. "Then," asks the teacher," What are you?" "I'm an Indianapolis Colts fan" boasts the little girl. The teacher asks Susie why she is a Colts fan. "Well, my Dad and Mom are Colts fans, so I'm a Colts fan too" she responds. "That's no reason," the teacher says. "What if your mom was a moron, and your dad was an idiot. What would you be then?" Susie smiles and says, "Then I'd be a New England Patriots fan." I'm a Bears fan so don't look at me ;;D....Tim |

Title: Re: AFC Playoffs Post by chewy on Jan 21st, 2007, 12:02pm Peyton Manning, after living a full life, died. When he got to heaven, God was showing him around. They came to a modest little house with a faded Colts flag in the window. "This house is yours for eternity, Peyton," said God. "This is very special; not everyone gets a house up here." Peyton felt special, indeed, and walked up to his house. On his way up the porch, he noticed another house just around the corner. It was a 3-story mansion with a Silver and blue sidewalk, a 50-foot tall flagpole with an enormous Patriots logo flag, and in every window, a New England Patriots towel. Peyton looked at God and said "God, I'm not trying to be ungrateful, but I have a question. I was an all-pro QB, I hold many NFL records, and I even went to the Hall of Fame." God said "So what's your point Peyton?" "Well, why does Tom Brady get a better house than me?" God chuckled, and said: "Peyton, that's not Tom's house, it's mine." |

Title: Re: AFC Playoffs Post by Jimmy_B. on Jan 22nd, 2007, 11:51am It could be worse...My favorite teams are the Eagles & Jets. Last time the Eagles won was 1960 and the last time the Jets won Joe Namath was still coherent. |

Title: Re: AFC Playoffs Post by drivin_blind on Jan 24th, 2007, 2:10pm Yes it could be worse. I'm from Michigan. My son in law works in Detroit. Said the car he parked next to had two Lions tickets in plain view on the dash. When he came back out of the store, the car window had been smashed and there were 4 more Lions tickets lying next to them! Dick |
