Two cowboys chance upon an Indian lying on his stomach with his ear to the ground. One of the cowboys stops and says to the other, "You see that Indian?"

"Yeah," says the other cowboy.

"He's listening to the ground and can hear things for miles in any direction", says the first cowboy.

The Indian looks up and says. "Covered wagon, two miles out, two horses, one brown, one white, man, woman, child, wagon loaded heavily with household goods."

"That's Amazing! How can you possibly know all that?, asks the second cowboy.

The Indian replies. “Not difficult..., ran over me when they passed this way about an hour ago.”
