Title: Circumcision
Post by E-Double on Jan 5th, 2006, 10:37pm
A teacher noticed that a little boy at the back of the class was squirming around, scratching his crotch, and not paying attention.  She went back to find out what was going on. He was quite embarrassed and whispered that he had just recently been circumcised and he was quite itchy.

The teacher told him to go down to the principal's office. He was to telephone his mother and ask her what he should do about it. He did it and returned to his class. Suddenly, there was a commotion at the back of the room. She went back to investigate only to find him sitting at his desk with his penis hanging out.

"I thought I told you to call your Mom!" she said. "I did," he said, "and she told me that if I could stick it out till noon, she'd come and pick me up from school."

[smiley=laugh.gif] Circumcised………I don’t even like the sound of that word. Every time I hear it I get a flinch in my crotch.

Hey Barry, don’t know why abbreviated is so long. What’s another word for thesaurus? And, why is phonics spelled that way?

First time I had to take a baby back for circumcision since I started in neonatal, it was this little preemie who was just working on feeding...which we call "feeder/growers."  :)

So anyways...I got him to the procedure room, and we got him on the circ board and everthing...and the doc came in and goes, "Wow that's so tiny!"  I said, "Hey!  That's the last time you can say that to him and not offend him!"  Only the female med student in the room laughed...I guess they were afraid of sexual harrasment or something, but it was HILARIOUS!

Recently I took a kid back for it, and he actually broke the circ board.  It was this itty bitty preemie, and the board was on the verge of cracking, and he broke one of the "legs" on the board!  It was so funny...I laughed for hours.

Poor little guys....  lots o' A&D after that!  At least these days when they do it in hospital, they use lidocaine blocks!  Sucrose pacifiers are great, too, but we don't use them at our hospital.

Great joke, Ex2!

Lx2 :)
