Title: Unemployed, Homeless & Destitute
Post by Jack on Feb 18th, 2002, 5:38pm
I wanted to be a good clusterhead and do justice to the  complexities of this new message board so I quit my job and have devoted all my time to learning how to post here.

I haven't slept since the new board arrived and they foreclosed on my house. My wife left me although she neglected to take dog.

Anyhow, me and my dog have been dividing our time between the public library and the YMCA. It's not really a bad life once you get used to the degradation and the odors that emanate from the good people on this rung of the socio-economic ladder. The dog seems to be adjusting well.

I am not whining - I am just sharing.

I was wondering if anyone had any new recipes for road kill prepared over an open fire?

Hub?

hey I got nothin'....Well maybe that's not true, next time you and your pooch are at the public library look for a book called seat of the soul by Gary Zukav.

And btw I have been unemployed, destitute, homeless and with a pooch companion extraordinare named Pepper by my side...and hey after all that.......I'm still here

You 2 are are ok.

Looks like neither one of you would kick a man or his dog when they are down.

Unemployed, homeless and destitute is really not such a bad gig - the pay and the prestige is a little subpar but I feel no pressure or stress and I can sleep in every morning, provided I can find a carboard box the night before  ;)

If anyone runs into me please pretend that you don't know me and slip me a peanut butter and jelly sandwich on whole wheat.

Thanks.

What? White bread isn't good enough? You want Wheat ? What type of peanut butter do you prefer, Chunky or smooth? Bet the damn road kill wasn't so fussy in its day !

2  The skunk and the truck, they got in a race,
Splattered that skunk all over the place,
Billy Bob scraped him offa' Route 52,

    4  Well, there's a knocked-down dog, a frisbee'd cat,
A raccoon thin as an ol' doormat,
       A radiatored bird, a two-dimensional ewe,
And a squashed bug go into that Road Kill Stew!
