Title: FYI: Reader's Digest- Dear Editor..... Post by Little Deb on Dec 9th, 2003, 10:00pm Just wanted you all to know I submitted a request to the editor to see if I could get any response. Letter as follows..... Dear Editor, I would like to write an article and have it published in your magazine. The article would be about myself and the thousands of people who suffer from debilitating pain currently referred to as Cluster Headaches. Although often referenced to migraine headaches, there is no comparison when it comes to the actual pain. There are several subjects I would like to cover in this article about Clusters that would hopefully educate people, including other headache sufferers not yet diagnosed, employers who do not understand, physicians, nurses and other medical staff, especially emergency room staff. I belong to O.U.C.H. (Organization for Understanding Cluster Headaches), and am a member in a Cluster Headache Support Group at www.clusterheadaches.com. We are commited to increasing public awareness about Cluster Headaches, which will hopefully lead to more research and eventually a cure. I look forward to hearing back from you. I have chosen Reader's Digest because as long as I can remember, 30+ years, it has been a very reputable, educational, honest and worthwhile magazine.
