Title: Looking for Doctor
Post by wip5150 on Dec 3rd, 2003, 9:32am
Greetings everyone.

I've lurked here for a couple of years - usually during an attack.   I've recently moved to the western suburbs of Chicago (Naperville to be exact) and am looking for a Doctor who is sympathetic to CH.  Can anyone point me in a direction?

My last attack was 20 months ago (I'm lucky in this regard) and am also wondering what other types of meds I should be looking at besides Imitrix.

Thanks.

Sorry you are having problems, but glad you found us.  I do not know of any Drs around there, but I am sure someone here does.  So, just hang around and you will get an answer soon!

If you go to the OUCH Website button at the left here, and then click on the first menu above the map - there is a list of recommended cluster doctors, arranged by state.

Ask about getting a 'script for oxygen to go with that imitrex!

Hi  nieghbor, I'm down the road  on 59 in Warrenville, I speak very very highly of this doc because she is the only one out of 6 in the past twelve years thats got it right, I refer to her as my Savior. Her Name is Dr. Kerry Disanto 630-986-8770, Located at 333 Chesnut, Suite 102 Hinsdale, IL 60521. You can use my name (Bill Hanson) if you wish, she knows me well. She doesn't give up on you, and is not afraid to try new things. I Can't say enough good things about her. Good Luck!!

I find this very interesting, as it was a FEMALE doctor that correctly diagnosed me with ch.  Way to go girl docs!
