Hello All! Haven't been here for a while. I first joined the "group" about 1 month ago. Had been told I had CH but needed to see a neuro for definite diagnosis. Well, I saw the neuro about 3 weeks ago and was told that I have migraines not CH. Since I've had headaches most of my life, and they have been dialy for alomost 5 months, it couldn't be CH. Anyway, I'm taking a beta blocker and getting pretty good relief. I still have headaches almost every day, just not so intense that I pass out like I had been. The neuro told me not to take Imitrex because it does not help when pain is daily. We need to get the pain down to once a month or so, then I can get off the beta blocker and take Imitrex only when I have the migraine. I hope he's right. I sure don't ever want the type of pain like I had!! Good luck to all of you, hope that those of you who are currently suffering get some relief real soon.
