Title: Bad Case of the Mondays.... Post by Big_Dan on Nov 24th, 2003, 3:56pm It wasn't that bad, and could have been alot worse. It was just myself and our pilot.... no one was hurt thankfully. The rudder was stuck when we touched down, and we went off the side of the runway. I've been flying for thirty two years, had a lot of crap go wrong but never had a rudder stick or fail. Nice looking plane, even in the ditch. Lee, that does't have $400,000.00 for a plane with no rudder. Oh, ifin you find that seat you can keep it. |

I look a pretty lights [smiley=bulb2.gif] at airports... Well in technical speak, I'm a test engineer for a contractor to the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Research and Development (R&D) Division in Aviation Visual Guidance (AVG). We test and evaluate (T&E) all sorts of different types of lights (LED, Incandescent, quartz), signs, and pavement markings. Then we take one of those little planes [smiley=hurl.gif] (usually at night) and fly over the airport and see if they're good or not. Every time I go up, I ask myself if this is it....apparently, this isn't it yet... [smiley=sayyes.gif] Anyway, glad you're still with us Big Dan, at least from now on, you'll never have to stand in line for anything, you have yor own seat ;;D Ozzy |
