I started on Clomid 50 mg a day about 3 weeks ago and fell ill last week. I only had a temp one night that reached 103. I vomited for a week straight, was coughing my head off, and then developed a small rash on my chest. After being seen in the ER once, the GP's twice, they concluded it was side effects from the Clomid. I stopped the Clomid night before last and got hit by the beast 6 times today (so far).
Don't know what's next...going to my neuro's office today and maybe back to Michigan to be admitted into Chelsea Hospital this coming up week. They mentioned maybe trying to self inject DHE if my BP will allow. Also up for the new stimulator from Advance Bionics. (Maybe as soon as next weekend)
PS..They said they would NOT attemp another RF procedure w/ the Occiptal nerves. Don't really know why they won't ... but they said No.

I just wanted to post this in case anyone else is on Clomid and gets sick. I thought it was the flu or something. If your on it and get sick...better tell your neuro cause it might be the Clomid.

Unsolved,

Did your doc's give you any indication why the clomid would make you sick. Was it an alergic reaction?

I've been on it for 3 days with some interesting results.
No adverse reactions. Can't same I'm pain free yet, but it sure is altering my cycle.

Man Unsolved, you are having one hell of a time. :( I hope your doc can find something to help you. You've had a rough month. Hang in there bud. :)
