The Brits stuffed the French this weekend in the Rugby World Cup. (it's a bit like American football but played by ex-Public school preppy types ! ;))

Is that worth a post and a cheer?

The Yanks beat the Italians today in the 7th Annual World Junior Bridge Tournament. It was a squeaker.

The computer losses will be less and less frequent in the future. Tommorow's competition will be between teams of programmers and their chess playing computers; humans who actually play chess will be relegated to their own junior varsity league. Programming is humanity's only hope. Don't know if I like the sound of that ... but think its true, none the less.
