Hi Ranger,
Read and print off the pertinant info from this site:

http://www.headachesupportgroups.com/oxygen/oxygen.htm

Also, head over to the OUCH page and read up in the meds section there.  Good info to print from there too.
Good luck!!

I give you:The success rate of O2 aborting CH

Any Clusterhead that doesn't try O2 (6-20 LPM with a nonrebreather mask) as an abortive ought to have their head examined.

...and don't give up before the miracle happens!
To me the mask is irritating...big deal...everything is irritating during a CH.
"It's making it worse!"...no dummy...the CH is just ramping up as usual...keep sucking!

I shall never forget the first time O2 stopped a CH...it was like the seas instantly calming...the clouds suddenly clearing.

Oh man, this is the first time in my 20 years of these things that I tried 02. For some reason I thought it sounded "quacky."

It is a GOD-SEND. 15 minutes and I'm not "imitrex-dopey" and out of it for longer than 1/2 hour.

I've only used the trex about 2ce a week - and that's simply because I wasn't able to access the 02 at the time.

Do it...do it...do it...

Chris

Hubba Hubba get thyself to an O2 tank near you. Made a world of difference for me.

If you haven't tried it you should - it doesn't do any good for me but it does help a lot of people.  Try melatonin too, it's cheap and might help :)
