That is what I was hoping for, I vast discussion by all sufferers. Next question if anyone cares.

Every one says Cluster Headaches stop around age 50 (only 10 more years). What is the body doing around age 50 or does the beast just not like picking on old people?

I think you'll find it's not true, sorry to disappoint those who thought they'd be cured when they retire.

These HEADACHES Do NOT stop around age 50 for most of us (not that I'm going to admit to being over 50, but.....) Mine didn't even start till I was almost that old.

some say Harmones play a part in this disease - but..... have tried harmone therapy and that didn't work either.

Some have been lucky enough to have them stop, but some of us weren't that lucky. We've had posts in the past from people in their 70s and 80s that are still getting hit.

Better question - why do these things hit some early and some later in life? Not really an answer - just a question.....

56 and going stronger than ever. I had asked the doc that specific question and sorry to say that we're in for life.

51 and just had my first cycle in 7 years. Go figure.

If that were true I would mark "get a life" in my 2007 day planner.
