Just like Ree, my son made it home from Iraq this week. When his ship (the USS Nimitz) returned to his home port at Pearl Harbor, his wife was there to greet him. Reurters news took and published some pictures. Here is one of them.

I'm jealous...I still wish I was in the Navy. The places, people & different things you get to experience....

Tell him to stop walking funny. I remember after 7 months out at sea...I couldn't walk straight, for a week.

Tell my ship-mate to enjoy the time with his family.

This is wonderful news. You must be so very proud and happy too. Thanks for the pictures....they are great... :D

My Dad was in the Navy...made many invasions during WWII. I'm kinda wondering if that would have resembled my Mom and Dad all those many years ago...(minus the hat of course.. ;;D)
