I’m thinking that we should just pinpoint all of our responses towards one specific gripe, each week.

THIS TIME…Let’s all just talk about how the insurance industry has fucked us up. This is the type of David and Goliath or Erin Brockovich story that Stone Phillips could really dig his teeth into. These shows need NEW CONTENT every week, year in and year out. I promise you that one of these shows will do a segment on us. Once that happens, all hell will break loose. “I pity the fool that stands in my way” Mr. T.

Our E-MAIL TARGET this week is Dateline NBC. A small blurb from their web page: “Principle anchor Stone Phillips is joined by numerous NBC News correspondents twice a week to bring viewers compelling investigative reports and personal stories.”

The Dateline NBC contact page is essentially an e-mail address. So here it is, followed by the URL for the contact page itself. If you click on “Talk back” under Stone Phillips picture, it will open up in your e-mail program.

As an update to the email target campaign, (I can't really say much to this current one as we are military so insurance isn't an issue for me) I thought I would let everyone know that I got a response from Larry Hatteburg for my letter to Hatteburg's People regarding DJ.

Here's the response:

Thanks so much for writing to me concerning a possible 'Hatteberg's People' story.

I'm sorry to have taken so long to respond. I'm receiving so much e-mail that it sometimes becomes a little overwhelming.

It's always a pleasure to hear from viewers about the wonderful people throughout our Kansas communities. Each suggestion is like a little 'gift'.

I will certainly give your suggestion full consideration. Remember though, that not all suggestions lend themselves to television stories. It all depends on the story, the video possibilities, and audience interest.

If it's possible for me to make the story come alive on the TV screen, I will be in contact.

I appreciate hearing from you.

Damn CH is tough for today's tv producers. The first question asked is: "Does it have "marquis value?" This is what we have to deal with.

Now if only a basketball star rapist or a California family murderer would develop CH........ :-/

"Stone" Phillips...It always gets to me. Surely that isn't his parent's idea. Probably was named Archibald or something but "Stone" is the best someone could do? ::)

I have tried to start this on different days of the week, to see if the response would be different. I have also tried different types of Headers to see if the response would be different.

I will now resort to “bumping”. People, really now, do you actually want me to post more. Give it some thought, band together and fight this evil trend.

I love Stone Phillips.... I think Stone is a sexy name too... just my tid bit on Stone Phillips............. one of my favorites along with Peter Jennings he is a hottie...ree
