Title: need alittle help
Post by tsayswhy on Oct 29th, 2003, 1:49am
I have to go to doctors and i just was woundering what you guys thought about all this.

cluster started in aug. off sansert in sept. but i was getting headaches on the right side, same side as cluster about a week later lasting 15 min or so and only about kip 2-3 never had to take anything for them just thought i was alittle tired so my doctor said. Then last week BANG :'( about a 8 on scale one thrusday sunday and today. Today i had no med thinking i was out of cycle only get them once a year and used the last imitrex sunday and did not replace my prescribtion the [smiley=moon.gif]hole that i am, got thought it with just ice. NEVER AGAIN.  [smiley=JAW_DROP.gif]{dont think my 7 year old is ever gonna go near me again}Now there no real set pattern to this and only getting one a day. My ?? is could this be cluster, do cluster work this way because mine were always 8 hours apart when in cycle.
PS: learn the true meaning of the word shit today

Clusters have a 'typical' routine, but I believe each person may vary in different ways (length, intensity, duration of attacks, what meds help and what meds don't help).
Sounds like you had a brief 'remission' and the clusters have changed a bit. Sorry to hear. Hang in there...it's gotta be over someday (hopefully soon  :) )

And to make it even more interesting, clusters can "perform" in a set pattern for years, only to fly off and do something totally different next time around...

The cluster is a wiley beast.

I agree.   When at the start or end of a cycle, expect the unexpected.

Great use of the new smilies    [smiley=crackup.gif]

Refill your scripts !  Sounds like the beast isn't willing to go on vacation quite yet.  The unexpected is the only thing you can expect with these things !

Tari

I thought Sansert was taken off of the market.  (Maybe that was only in the U.S.)

I thought I was wrong once, but i was mistaken.
