Title: Update on me ...... ya gotta love life Post by OneEyeBlind on Oct 28th, 2003, 11:15pm Hey, just thought I would post an update on me and hubby before things start to get really hectic. We have sold our vacation home (I think) and need to move out by this weekend. It's hard to say goodbye to a place that has brough nothing but pleasure to us, but hey ........ things happen and you need to move on. My husband, who has undergone treatment for HepC twice now and has not responded will be included in a study through Albert Einstein in Phila. Unfortunatly, the study was suppose to start Sept 1st, and we were all ready for that. I can't even begin to put in to words the hoopla we had to go through to even get in to the study. Since then, the treatment program has been postponed over and over again. We have gone through hell and back at this point ............... so, I booked us a 10 day trip to Jamaicca. Nothing like a good trip to lift your spirits. We don't leave until Nov 12th ... but we have a lot to accomplish between now and then. While in Jamaicca, I will refuse to think about clusterheadaches, Christopher, cancer, insurance stuff, my husband's illness or anything else that brings me down. What I will be thinking about is all of the lovely friends I have here, and how I wish they were with me. I'll take pics ........ and Jonny can post them. My first assignment when I get there is to have my hair braided. Yes, I have decided at this point, my head isn't tight enough !!!!!!!!! Love you all bunches .......... and I'm off on a holiday !!!!!! |

Oh man......I wanna go......sounds like an AWESOME vacation !!!!!! I love Raggea even tho I can't spell it ! Gonna take cardboard cutouts of all of us with ya ? Sadly water is at a premium here and the only beach we have is the local water park and it is closed. Wow! This is starting to depress me... Have you got room in your luggage for a few stowaways?
