.... how long do you personally get tormented before the son of a bitch finally hits you?...

I've been shadowing on a daily basis for about 2 months, and wish the fucker would just start an finish so I don't have to worry about going to sleep at night..... :-[

Anxiety really sux. Hang in there Dan. It really could be worse. I've been saying "I wish this would end" for the last three years.

I hear you Dan. I was feeling the damn things too for a while and figured, here we go but then it stopped for a few weeks and now it's back.
Don't know about going ahead and getting it over with though... I can live with this.
You hang in there brother and sleep while you can, no worries. Maybe it's just gonna pass you by this time.

Ok the tiny optimistic part of me says maybe you are just going to experience shadows and no "real" hits?! Here's hoping that's exactly what happens!

Still don't get this shadow thing. I either had them or not. Nothing like that to tell me to get readly for my trip hell. Sorry

I had the shadows for 3 weeks last year before the first big hit. Anticipation is a great thing, huh >:(

Hope you are lucky and shadows are all you see this time around.

Oh and failed to mention that I had a bunch of minor shadows this cycle but thankfully thats all its been. Still crossing fingers.

I usually have about 3 days notice. I can feel the "pressure" starting to build and know that I had better prepare myself.

Good luck and here's hoping it will be a "false alarm". (That has happened to me in the past.)

I've had bouts where I just had shadows and nothing else. Keep your fingers crossed.
