October is running out, folks! Nominations need to be in by the end of the month. At this point, we only have one person running in each of the Officers categories. As a former OUCH Officer, I can assure you that working for OUCH can be very gratifying. Come ON, people - step up to the plate and get a buddy to nominate you. Anyone out there with Bookkeeping Skills? Familiarity with Roberts Rules of Order? Any business experience at all? It really doesn't take a lot of time to hold an Office position.
Let's get a genuine horse race going here - gang - let's make the voting mean something!
Please know that this post is in NO way meant to offend any of the running candidates/encumbants - not at ALL. It would just be really nice to add some flavour to this election!

What positions are available? What are the officer categories and what are the bod categories that are available?

Question: How many are we allowed ta vote for runnin for BOD ? (one vote or two total or one for all ?) I KNOW this is a "stupid as hell" question but I'm not a big voter for clubs or organizations so not sure how the politics go fer voteing run. OK.....thanks ! Pam the nonpolitical type

Hi Pam :)
It looks like there will be 4 Board of Directors' positions opening up for this next term. Bob Pahlow and Doug Wright have resigned and the other's terms expire at the end of this year. I would think Riccardo is the only returning director - but I could be wrong in how I'm figuring this out.

edit: actually, looks like I lied. Cat's term is running out this year too, so now I think we have to vote for FIVE new directors! I think, other than the first year of OUCH when no one really even voted, I can't remember when we've had to bring in this many new BoD members!

OK thanks.......so I can vote for all the directors runnin rite ? Unless I didnt like one of em.......ha-ha-ha......and I like em all of course.....good job guys ! Pam the voteing non political person.

PS: Brad's name isn't on the OUCH members list or did I miss it ? I went thru the list several times. Thanks agin !
