Title: End of cycle question
Post by Reese on Oct 22nd, 2003, 2:00pm
When Im leaving a cycle I get short,10 minute h/a at different times than usual cycle time. Its the whole cluster h/a(stuffed nose, sore throat, temple pain, eye pain, eye watering, neck sore/stiff,and jaw pain)all summed up in about 5-10 minutes rather than 30-60 minutes.Anyone else experience this? Also stopped drinking beer 2 weeks ago which helped lessen and shorten attacks.

I THINK I AM AT AN END TO THE CYCLE FOR ABOUT 2 WEEKS NOW [smiley=sayyes.gif]

I STILL HAVE WHAT I CALL "SHADOWS THAT SOUND SIMILAR TO WHAT YOU HAVE.

I THINK THE BEAST IS JUST GIVING UP FOR A WHILE AND IS TELLING US HE IS NOT GONE FOR GOOD, BUT HOPEFULLY FOR A LONG TIME!!!!!!

Hi, they are not shadows.I get shadows quite often during a cycle. These are actually 5-7 kips in this short amount of time.I probably will be out of cycle in a week or two(normal cycle).

I stopped drinking beer 20 years ago at fall and winter (at my usual cycle-time)

Samething for me Reese,

I just got out of a cycle about a month ago, the bastard is losing his grip and getting weaker, you'll be fine, it may take longer then you think tho, I was getting so frustrated because I just wanted them gone! There gone now!

when cycles fade for me, the length/duration of each attack doesn't change, just the intensity.

Hello Reese, if I take Imitrex pain will go stops within 10 min, otherwise it takes 45-60 min...[smiley=bigguns.gif]

For many CH sufferer alcohol is a trigger... so you have well done to avoid beer... 8)

Wishing you PFDAN... Zaira  ;;D

THis happens at the end of my cycles as well.
It's also how my cycles start.

Hi Reese,
My headaches come and go in waves out of cycle. they are by far milder than full on attacks, but they suck none the less.
They do however come around the same time of day.
Hope I helped you.
