??? Has enyone tryed Depakine? This is what my Neuro wants me to try next.

I wonder if this is the same thing as Depakote over here. If so, it's been around here for some time and I took it for epilepsy.  Many anti-seizure drugs work for CH. It has to be slowly begun and the doctor will ask you for blood work from time to time.

It can slow you down a bit, make you hungry and make it easy to gain weight which is common. Like many anti-seizure drugs, there is a slight hair loss. It has worked for some I think. It didn't help my epilepsy so I was taken off. It may work for you though. Let the others here who know more about drugs tell you more.

Not sure about this medication, but if it works then who cares if your slow, fat and bald.....it'll be worth it, and just remember beauty is within.... ;D

I have just been told that  Depakine is sodium valproate- an anti-convulsant usually used for epilepsy so it is probably the same as Depakote
