Hey Gang.

Spent this morning at seminar on Headache Types Current Treatment. It was sponsored by Pfizer. Surprise, it's my Neuro along with other Doctors.

Small talk with her revealed that clusters would not get much air time. "Perhaps in the Q and A at the end." Backseat again. Wish degree of pain meant more than numbers.

Topics includes Medical Treatment of Migraine, Controlling Headache: Biofeedback (Charlie) along with Paitent Perspective. The underlying themes were a new bumped-up early Med approach (Pfizer will help) and being touted as the new gospel to Doctors and Patients and using your mind needs to be an intergral part of the treatment scope. Additionally discussed the difficulity in getting the correct med cocktail to specific patient. Many combinations to attempt and at this time none unlock the door totally.

I missed the Sinus Headache part because I was in the parking lot shooting Trex up my nose. If the Trex had not been so effective I was prepared to inject an additional item into the agenda and call it "wanna see what this type of headache makes you do?

Good thing at the end..Doc said to call her on Monday to re-group.
