Well, it's been about a month....

Bad news for me. I can't take it - had some really bad side effects (not listed in the brochure).

I've been totally listless and depressed, dizzy and my ears have been ringing really bad (there's a name for that that I can't think of right now). Memory hasn't improved but gotten really bad. Blood pressure dropped real low and I've felt like the devil.

I kept taking it cause I'm in a high cycle and thought it was just that, but a few days ago I was talking to a client and I told her that the doc had given me a script for it. She said she had taken it and started describing what it did to her -- my symptoms to a tee.... CLUE!!!!

Anyhow I d/c it and it's been two days now -- my ears have quit ringing and I can get out of bed without feeling quite so listless. Still am not up to my usual "zippy" self, but am getting around better (without having to really "push" myself).

Guess I'm out of the ginny pig study on this one, but I can't handle being a zombie all the time. Hope it works for others, but I just can't handle it.

Sorry to hear that it didn't work out for you, Barb, but I'm very glad to hear that you're getting your energy back.

What, if any, effect did Namenda have on your CH?

George, I couldn't tell any difference. I was so drug out that nothing was making any sense to me much....

Barbara,

Sorry the namenda didn't work... Some days chicken, some days feathers... Stick with the O2... No side effects other than the confidence of knowing you can kick the crap out of the beast.

Thanks for letting us know Barbrara. I was very curious as well since I am still having a very rough time on the topamax. I am sorrry it didn't work for you but glad you d/q and hope you are feeling much better soon and out of high cycle.
