Title: Can't they just remove the left side of my head? Post by CostaRicaKris on Mar 27th, 2008, 8:51pm I mean really? Do I need two ears and two eyes? I've already been accused of having half a brain, so hopefully it's on the right side. The only part I can't figure out is what do I do with the left ear phone speaker for my ipod. |

Title: Re: Can't they just remove the left side of my hea Post by MJ on Mar 27th, 2008, 9:35pm It's a bit of a quandry. The only solution I can see is to toss the earphones and get a set of plug in stand alone speakers to maintain sound quality. |

Title: Re: Can't they just remove the left side of my hea Post by Kitty1973 on Mar 28th, 2008, 12:05pm I have had my share of half-brained ideas, and I agree, but it is my right side that needs to be removed. When mine first started, and I didn't know what they were, I swore that if I could just drill a hole into the right side of my head at the temple that it would help. I also thought that pokeing a hole in my eardrum would help. [smiley=laugh.gif] Kitty |

Title: Re: Can't they just remove the left side of my hea Post by George_J on Mar 31st, 2008, 7:57pm Couldn't do it here. Your "gimme cap" wouldn't stay on. If you spend time fishing, hunting, and bombing around out in the Idaho boondocks, you pretty much have to have a "gimme cap". It's like a uniform. A person stands out in places like this without a "gimme cap": http://usera.imagecave.com/georgboise/DSCI0013-copy-copy.jpg That's Twin Springs, about forty miles up a dirt road on the Middle Fork. FYI, the sign out front says, "No guns allowed in bar". And they mean it. For those in foreign parts, the term "gimme cap" comes from the method by which you request one--as in "gimme one a them caps". A "gimme cap" can have any sort of writing on it. Some examples of caps I own say, "John Deere", "Sage Fly Rods", "Henry's Lake Foundation", and "Wild Rose Ranch" . I do not own--but I covet--one I saw for a bar in Alaska called "Skinny Dick's Halfway Inn". You do not want to have one that says "Sierra Club" or "Earth First! " as this will substantially decrease your likelihood of survival. This is a fine example of a "gimme cap". I picked this image with Brewcrew especially in mind: http://www.asodb.com/img/shop/g8.jpg No...it wouldn't do to remove half my head. I couldn't wear a "gimme cap", and folks would think I was a Californian. Best, George |
