Title: Re: Guess who's come back.... Post by Redd on Mar 26th, 2008, 9:43am There is a grate directly above my head and desk here at the office. It's always blown cold air down on my and I've gotten used to having a space heater under my desk to try to stay reasonably comfortable without having to wear my coat all day. This morning I can feel the draft hitting me directly in the left ear, and it's aggrivating the shadow lingering in that ear and my left eye. I was able stave off the start of a full on spring high cycle last year, and I intend (notice the positive thinking in this) to do it again this year. Fall high cycle was hit with an early preventive pro-active dosing schedule so was little more than shadows. I did try to be pro-active this spring, and I bought myself almost 3 extra weeks before the bastage showed up at 7 PM last night. Not a high kip about a 5, but enough to let me know he was back and pissed that I'm trying to ditch him for good. March 6 or 8 is my usual start. I WILL triumph over this once again. I WILL I WILL I WILL!!! There, hows that for positive attitude? |

Put a beach umbrella up over your desk to deflect the cold draft. Be very ostentatious about doing this. Choose a very colorful umbrella. Bet they'll get the message. ;) Somebody, somewhere has a sixteen-foot ladder and a screwdriver. Best, George |

Title: Re: Guess who's come back.... Post by Redd on Mar 26th, 2008, 5:49pm I'll be prepared to hit the f*cker with my best shot tomorrow night right after work, so that I should be ready for bed at the usual time. |

Title: Re: Guess who's come back....(update) Post by Redd on Apr 9th, 2008, 9:47am Well last night was a wild ride. Maybe I should start from the top. 3/27 was dose one with 24 seeds prepared as usual. No after math hits till the 29th. Low level and all very short lived. Then shadows regularly, gaining in intensity over the next few days till a k7 attack on the 2nd at 11pm. 2 back to back slammed Red bulls, and it was gone in 20 minuets. Hard trying to sleep after that but whatcha-gonna-do. 4/3 dose 2 of 32 seeds, and a low level attack at 10. Shadows stong and just the oposite of the week before, they were getting weaker each day. Last night, went to bed just after 10 PM, and by 11 was up again k7, slammed 1 red bull, was over by 11:30. 1:30 am another one...spiked to k8 and after slamming another bull my face with an ice pack at my neck was in front of the wide open bedroom window breathing in the cold wet snowy night air. 2:30 I finally felt able to lay down again Sleep wasn't really an option after that. You know the deal. Lay there with eyes closed, try to get comfy. Turn over try again. So after finally dozing off, (don't know what time that was) the alarm rings and the LAST thing I want to do is get out bed. I'm beat, body feels like I'm dragging an elephant behind me. But my head is clear as bell. WTF? Only tell tale sign is a puffy bag around my left eye and a nice scratch from my fingernail. Last death throws of the beast? Have I truely contained it once again? Or just the start of something another morphing phase? Whatever comes of this high cycle this go-round only time will tell. Even if all hell breaks loose, it's been a good 12 month run of being on top of the bastard and having most of my life back. |

Title: Re: Guess who's come back.... Post by Sandy_C on Apr 9th, 2008, 10:53am Pegg, you kick his buttocks ::) out! You said you took a dose of 32 seeds on 4/3. If you haven't taken another dose since then, hit it again tonight with another 32 to 35 seeds. If you get even so much as a shadow during the next five days, hit another dose of 32 to 35 seeds five days after tonight's dose. Don't wait to see if Elvis has actually left the building. Make sure he leaves. Dose again so that you can lock the door. I'm only episodic, but I've completely knocked out two cycles in less than two weeks using this system. Plus, I dose on the first of every month, while out of cycle with 12 seeds, no matter what. I'm sure it is much harder to do with chronics, but it might be worth a try. Fight the good fight. You can do it. OH, and, I LOVE the big, bright umbrella idea, The bigger and brighter, the better. Go for it! Love ya Sandy |

Hey....Knock it off. I hear that ....the creeping in of a lack of confidence in either the treatment plan or your own strength and ability to overcome. 12 months is not something to be satisfied with, but a foundation to build upon. Now listen to Sandy!! Bobw I knew it....Farve cries all day on TV and the cheeseheads start thinking it's ok to go soft ;-) |

Title: Re: Guess who's come back.... Post by Redd on Apr 10th, 2008, 12:25am Too many meetings to prepare a dose for tonight, and driving the kids back to dads wouldn't haven't been a good idea under the influance of anything. Will have to make it tomorrow night. Oh and Bob? Favre hasn't signed his retirement papers just yet. ;) |

Title: Re: Guess who's come back.... Post by Redd on Apr 13th, 2008, 9:52am Appears the last round was indeed the death thows, at least for right now, as I've been feeling pretty good. Just for good measure, I plan to keep a regular schedule of every other Saturday until the end of May(unless of course things go wild again), as that is how long my high cycles usually last 16-18 weeks, and then monthly from there until fall again. Right now I'm off to take my shift as the parental unit overseeing the 9 teens of the Sushi Stalkers trivia team. Love you guys. |
