Here's an article I found on CH. Something else to be on the watch for....

ISLAMABAD: New research suggests that cluster headache, a severe type of headache that usually begins around one eye, often occurs together with a heart defect called patent foramen ovale (PFO), in which blood can pass through a small hole from the right to the left side of the heart without going through the lungs first.

Helen - when I read the first comment, I was thinking about what I'd have to say to correct this notion! Thanks for posting the newsletter article!! There may be newer information out there, since I know they continue to do studies on PFO, especially here in the US (my uncle just sent me something the other day in email about studies being done on migraine and PFO in Chicago). However, my understanding was that the major correlation was with migraine with aura, and not CH - and once again that correcting it really wasn't worth the risk unless a person met strict criteria!

Time DOES fly!! And soon I will start submitting more articles to you - this is just a busy time for me right now but next week I have most of the week off (since I'm working this weekend and it's been my busy week, plus I had committee stuff to take care of for work), and hopefully I can write some stuff to send you! I'm excited to write more for the newsletters!!
