Title: Pain as a trigger?? Post by aloneuk on Nov 13th, 2007, 9:41am Silly question i know but ... I dislocated my knee again sunday night, And about 5mins or so after doing it i got hit. It's painful most of the time but as soon as i move it gets much worse and when it does i get hit, I was in bed last night and must have rolled over in my sleep and woke up in a lot of pain from my knee and again about 5mins later i got hit again.. I've been hit 6times so far today and almost everyone of them was after moving and my knee hurting.. Is there a link ? I'm a pacer and now pissed off because when i get hit i can't bloody move i just have to sit there cos i can't walk and i can't get in the "right" positions when being hit, :( Just to add i didn't do anything cool to dislocate it all i did was stand up took one step and SNAP ! looked down and my knee cap was on the wrong side of my leg! I wouldn't mind as much if i did it skiing or something fun ! Ike |

Title: Re: Pain as a trigger?? Post by E-Double on Nov 13th, 2007, 9:59am My knee also pops out. It really sucks and hurts tons! The only thing I can think of is the rush of adrenaline and the stress to the body. Once it peaks then it will of course plummet which can bring on an attack of CH. I have had similar things occur with me. If we were always in pain then maybe we wouldn't be in pain lol |

Title: Re: Pain as a trigger?? Post by sldrswyfe on Nov 13th, 2007, 10:41am My knees "pop" out too...injured both when I was kid... I jumped off of a wooden fort, when I used to believe I could fly...landing on both on cement.... I never noticed I get hit when they pop out...but it is EXCRUCIATING. But I have facial neuralgia on my CH side...and THAT is a definate trigger...it feels like my skin in peeled off of my face and the nerves are exsposed... I don't know for sure about the knee...but we're all different... **I broke my leg a few yrs. ago, and it was casted...I know what you mean about not being able to get in the "right" position during a hit...AAAHHH!! |
