Title: The Run Is Over
Post by MR_FLOOR on Nov 10th, 2007, 9:07pm
65 days PF and then slammed with a kip 8. Don't get me wrong I'm not complaining I embrace the 65 days I had but today I'm pain free and the new run starts now. Thanks for all your support.

Long live pain free days

That sux, man. My latest run was 14 months. Hopefully this run-in will be short-lived.

Hang in there, Dave--it could be a rogue hit, and not the start of something new.

Used to happen to me now and then.

Best wishes,

George

Thanks guys,I'm sure I will be fine. I'm hoping it was just a fluke hit and I will continue on another run.

IT HAPPENED BEFORE , IT CAN HAPPEN AGAIN . It's in the record book  as 65 days . A personal record . Now prepare to shatter that record . I will pray for your return to painfree dan's. You are a legend.    phil h  ;)

I'm betting it's a rogue.  10 to 1 you're still cool with the remission.

Best,

George

I was hit again on the 13th of nov.and then pf since 24 days and counting. This is unfamiliar territory for me, I have never had a pattern like this before. In the past 91 days 3 hits 1 on the 11 of nov. and 2 on the 13,then pf since. I guess I will never figure these things out. Don't get me wrong I'm not complaining pf days are pf days and they make me happy   ;;D very happy ;;D ;;D

You've gone episodic, Dave.

Sounds like being episodic is a new thing for you.  Just remember the way out of cycle isn't always smooth.  Remission is a slope, and not a clean finish.

What I mean is that the thing doesn't always vanish all at once, but subsides.  I know that mine gradually get weaker and farther apart before they disappear altogether.   Maybe you'll get whacked a few more times before the damn thing goes away.  I hope not, but don't be discouraged.  It's not necessarily a reversal, it's just the thing fighting back before it goes to sleep.  I'm willing to bet if you get another in the next few weeks, it'll be a little pissant 4 or 5.

There's a difference between a remission that's just started, and being deep in remission.  If that's what's happening, you'll "feel" what I mean later on.  When you're deep in a remission, it's like the thing never was.

Best wishes,

George

I hope your rite George.I have never been episodic, but I have always wanted to be. When I had Histamine desensitization I went 8 years without a hit,so I tried it again the 2nd time it worked for 2 years. I was in heaven. This time nothing no treatment, they just stopped, well not exactly my doc upped my Verap to 480 then within 2 weeks they stopped. So about 1 week after that I stopped the Verap all together against all advice. But you have to remember I have been on that stuff since I was 30,and now I'm 43 so I figured it was time, and to everyones amazement they did not come back yet. I'm keeping my fingers crossed. Of course if they come back I will have no problem going back on the Verapmil . Thanks for your advise and guidance George.
