I saw a story on TV today about how Topamax may be approved to treat people with addiction. Here's a link if you want to read about it.

I'm pretty sure I know how it works since I'm on Topomax. If you take Topamax and you want a beer, you go to the kitchen to get a beer. When you get to the kitchen, you forget why you walked there in the first place and you leave without the beer.

Check out the thread on the General board regarding this. Yours seems to be a rather popularly held theory :)
