Title: Input needed please Post by ClusterChris on Oct 10th, 2007, 8:39am I have now been in cycle since the end of April. I had one break for 3 weeks and another for two weeks, other than that it has been full blown cycle the rest of the time. I have never had a cycle go longer then 2 months and I am getting pretty burned out now. For the last 3 weeks or so I have only been getting hit once or twice a day which is kind of a relief. Has anyone had a full blown cycle last this long?? I just don't know what to think anymore. Help! Chris |

Title: Re: Input needed please Post by E-Double on Oct 10th, 2007, 8:48am Chris, try not to dwell on the changes. Note them and talk to your doctor. Yes,I personally was very accustomed to 2 brief cycles for about a decade then my last cycle hit and it has been 3.5 yrs. Things change. During this cycle things started pretty normal then went heywire. I had breaks early on for 1 and 2 weeks where I though I was done. They came back. I stopped dwelling after that. It will drive you crazy and prevent you from doing the things you need in life more than the CH actually will. Try not to fall into the trap of increasing anxiety and the depression that may develop. Talk to someone if needed and if on meds try to find your therapeutic level. If not on meds, try to find your method to cope. best to ya bro. E |

Title: Re: Input needed please Post by Guiseppi on Oct 10th, 2007, 10:14am What E said! After over 20 years of cycles you could set a watch to, 2 cycles a year, spring and fall, I went about 2 years pain free followed by an 8 month cycle. You can eat holes in your tummy worrying about it, just gives the beast that much more control over your life. Hang in there, here's hoping for a break for you soon. Guiseppi |

Title: Re: Input needed please Post by ClusterChris on Oct 10th, 2007, 10:45am thanks for the replies guys! Guiseppi, sounds like the exact same as me, before this cycle I was pf for 2 years. Maybe this long cycle is just the beast making up for lost time. I'm praying it ends though. Thanks again! Chris |
