Title: O2 tank with handle/collar[/img] Post by txbeck on Sep 29th, 2007, 5:33pm How do you attach a regulator when the tank has a plastic collar with a handle? http://www.ired.com/m60.jpg Do I need to removed the collar or am I missing something obvious? |

Title: Re: O2 tank with handle/collar[/img] Post by Ray on Sep 29th, 2007, 7:29pm Just guessing, but that looks like an "M" tank. There is a threaded part to goes on the right side of the picture where the regulator is. As stated above, the handle rotates around to be out of the way. You'll need a wrench to make it work. Hope that helps! Ray |

Title: Re: O2 tank with handle/collar[/img] Post by txbeck on Sep 29th, 2007, 10:15pm Well, I can't tell you how stupid I am feeling, but nothing is helping me put this thing together. I am between bouts, so fortunately my need is not urgent at the moment and I just want to be prepared before the beast comes a'calling again, but for the life of me I can't figure out how tab A fits into slot A...or for that matter what IS tab A, tab B, slot A or slot B! I have bought a tank, tube, bubbler, mask, and regulator but apparently Topamax has eaten my brain. Oh, I gave up on the officially systems supplied by Medical Supply houses. They kept sending me concentrators though my Rx clearly stated tank and 10-15lpm regulator and non-rebreather mask And, yes, it is an M60 tank. Thanks for trying to help. |
