Title: Stiff Neck, Sore Tooth, Aching eye Post by mybloodyheadhurts on Sep 11th, 2007, 4:05pm Ive just gotten over another one, this time the O2 did not scare the beast off. I took the imitrex after the beast was gone, just to make sure it would not return. I have noticed that the start of my CH always comes from my neck just below the base of my skull, Ive often felt a large knot there which seems to get slightly bigger when I have a CH. Then it travels to one of my Molars (I actually rippped out one of my crowns last week)..... didnt help!, then it travels upto my eye, I have started to call them "blinders" my leg spasms with the pain, does anyone else have a similar start to their headaches? I know its been tried and tested but my gut feeling tells me its coming from my neck...... |

Title: Re: Stiff Neck, Sore Tooth, Aching eye Post by nani on Sep 11th, 2007, 11:20pm I've had attacks that follow that path. Most of mine start way up in my nose, out my eye and temple, around my jaw, and then end in my clusterbump. Every once in a while they'll start in the bump. I have found that O2 doesn't work as quickly on those. |

Title: Re: Stiff Neck, Sore Tooth, Aching eye Post by BMoneeTheMoneeMan on Sep 15th, 2007, 9:36pm I dont really get the cluster lump so much as other people, but I did have dental/jaw pain for about a year. I could have sworn CH was dental related. But, then I got a little dental work done and now I have not had dental or jaw pain for over 2 years now. Still have the damn CH though. :-/ |

Title: Re: Stiff Neck, Sore Tooth, Aching eye Post by bigboltrules on Sep 16th, 2007, 7:58am Yup, I got one of those lumps. Right side of my neck. I can always feel it, but it gets bigger when a CH. I also have had pain in my teeth. oddly enough, I have a battery powered tooth brush, and if I brush my teeth with it, the vibrations actually help. |
