hi sorry for the bother but could someone tell me if imitrex is the same painkiller with imigran?i use the second one but not sure if we are saying the same thing.imigran is its brand name.imitrex is substance or brand name?thanks in advance.pf wishes

the same exact thing.

In the states we have imitrex while in other countires the brand name is imigran

Imitrex/ Imigran is a vasoconstrictor, not a pain killer. It reduces the swelling in the bloodvessels, reducing pressure on the nerves.
