Title: Yawning! Post by southwalessunshine on Aug 17th, 2007, 7:19pm I posted a question a little while ago about whether the specs wearers among us found any probs with their specs and their Ch. I have monitored myself and have found that when in cycle my glasses press the bridge of my nose and I cannot wear them but the eye strain of not wearing them brings on a headache. Since getting contact lenses the pressure is better. However I have also found that when i'm in cycle and a beast is coming on I start to yawn. Alot! I also get really confused when i'm talking and forget what i'm saying. This is before the pain hits and I have no feelings it's coming on. in fact my partner will tell me I've got one coming just by having a conversation with me. How mad is that? Does anyone else here have anything similar or just as weird? |

Title: Re: Yawning! Post by LindsayLoo on Aug 17th, 2007, 8:04pm The only thing I find similar to me is the confusion part. My DH noticed this in me too. I seem to get really "Dumb" during certain times of the day generally about 1-2 hrs before i get hit. I also am very forgetful during these times, distracted is more like it. Lindz |

Title: Re: Yawning! Post by kyitb on Aug 17th, 2007, 9:43pm I have a hard time remembering things while i'm in pain of course but also when i'm not. I get confused and lost real easy. I've never been the sharpest tool in the shed but, these things have definitely affected me in the ways you describe. Doesn't mean your not weird though. Can't really speak to that... hehe |

Title: Re: Yawning! Post by kyitb on Aug 17th, 2007, 9:44pm Oh yeah I wear contacts and have for long before I started getting these attacks. I haven't noticed any difference with them on or off. No help, I know but figured i'd at least give you my take on it ... |

Title: Re: Yawning! Post by aloneuk on Aug 18th, 2007, 6:18am one question prof goadsby said to me when i saw him a few weeks ago was ''do i yawn a lot before a hit'' he said that lots of the people he sees with clusters yawn a lot before a hit. for me as soon as i start yawning i run for the o2! forgetting things half way thru a conversation happens ALL the time to me lol, quite often im on the phone to someone and forget who im talking to lol.. my partner tells me my hits are coming way before i know just from talking to me too ike x |

Title: Re: Yawning! Post by JenniferD on Aug 18th, 2007, 7:34am not yawny, but I do get the distracted part. Its like my subconscious knows it coming and I am distracted and aggitated at the same time, can't operate in normal mode. My spouse doesn't know its coming, but my dog sure does! Follows me around and won't leave my side. |

Title: Re: Yawning! Post by phil_h on Aug 18th, 2007, 8:20am My labs attempt to lick my head about ten minutes before hits and then won't leave me whem I hurt....during hits they don't touch my head...Without them, I begin with a state of confusion, I suppose yawns, then ahot flush.....head for o2 ...here it comes..... my dogs move closer when the hit stops. I then know it's ending...I'm just in after shock..my wife and kids never sense aura , but they know when I'm in shadows without me telling them. |

Title: Re: Yawning! Post by barry_sword on Aug 18th, 2007, 8:32am No yawning for me. Angie say's I go quiet just before a hit is coming and I start to massage my neck on the Cluster side, (I'm a righty) When I am shadowing my right side of my neck seems warmer than the left. ::) Then the drip. :P Barry |
