I am going to share two pics I took of myself right after an attack was over. I was home alone and decided to get a couple of pics. I had the camera ready and took one with flash and one without.

As soon as I could see where the camera was I snapped these photo's. I did this to show my Neuro the next day what I looked like after a hit. Not pretty!!

It was the next day he scripted o2 for me which worked absolutely wonderful. Can't say enough about o2!!!!!

With the o2 I do not look like this after a hit if I catch it in time.

Thanks for the support. I sure wasn't upright a few minutes before that pic, it was a kip 9, some we never forget.

Great Horners' eye, Barry!

Mine looks exactily the same after a hit. In fact, that stupid droop lasts nearly all cycle for me. And, it's always noticible most in pics. I think that's why my docs thought I'd had a stoke when my first cycle hit.

I admire your courage.

I haven't been brave enough to look at the mirror after a hit and here you are, posting pictures. Thank you for that.

Thanks for the replies and support you guys. I was not sure if I should post them or not but knew it would be ok to do it here. I do not think I would put them on my blog or anywhere else as only we understand what these CH can do to one.

I though maybe if a newcomer saw these pics it might help in some small way for that person to say"hey, that is how I look after I have one of my attacks"

I applaud Antonio for the video he did of one of his attacks but I thought a pic would be also beneficial for others to see.

The bad part is that most of us have looked at that face in the mirror..... :( In fact right now I can relate to it totally (just coming down off a hit).

I didn't think you looked too bad in the pix, however. I recognised the look of exhaustion, and it reminded me of how I feel inside when the beast hits. everyone here feels your pain x

You got a a lot of courage honey. I have had bad cycles when I looked like a monster I mean you would not recognize me.

I choose not to even look in a mirror because I know I will look like the demon . Call it vanity if you like, that's OK

We all know that, in some variation, this is what we look like, and it ain't pretty (not to say, Barry that YOU ain't pretty, cuz you are beautiful to us).

I applaude your courage to take pictures of yourself after a hit. Thank you.

So does Horners Syndrome extend to the cheek and jaw as well? ..serious
I dont get horners, I do however get the fire eyes. I just let the eyelid do its thing' Mostly its halfway or completely closed..hell maybe I do...lol

I might take a picture next time i have a hit, but im warning you people, i might scare you all away. lol The funny thing is, my attacks vary. Sometimes ill hit 9's and 10's where im throwing myself around my living room like a crazy lunatic, and others, maybe 5's or 6's, which are basically just really annoying. I dont start pacing till i hit 8's and 9's. Thats when i start really climbing the walls. You guys really are soldiers though. Man it feels good to be in company where i can express my CH's.
